Acknowledgements

These retreats are held in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people.

The practice and teachings of yoga originated in India and are rooted in the religious practices of Hinduism and Buddhism.

I acknowledge, with gratitude and humility, that what I am teaching is not from my culture, and that it is being taught on land that is not my own.
